Build a multi-session booking

For bigger pieces that need more than one sitting, build up the sessions one at a time using offers or appointments, each with its own price and choice of dates and times.

Big pieces like sleeves rarely fit into one appointment, so rather than trying to set the whole thing up in a single offer, build it up session by session. Send an offer for the first sitting, and once your client's ready for the next one, send another offer for that session, with its own price and its own choice of dates and times.

You can send as many offers as the piece needs, one for each session. None of these later sessions need a new enquiry, you can send them straight from the client's details page.

If you've already agreed dates with your client, you can add the appointment directly instead of sending an offer. Either way, each session gets set up on its own, so you're never locked into one price or one set of dates for the whole project upfront.

For deposits, you've got a choice. You can take a new deposit for each session as it comes up, or roll the deposit over after the first one's been paid, so it carries across the rest of the sessions without asking for another.

A good tip is to give each session a clear project name, like Sleeve Session 2 or Back Piece Part 3. That way, both you and your client can see exactly which part of the project each booking belongs to, especially once there are a few sessions booked in.
