A studio account lets you manage multiple artists under one roof, with a shared calendar, centralised enquiries and a single subscription covering everyone. Whether you have a studio of 2 artists or 10, it all works exactly the same.
How it's set up 🏢
Each artist has their own individual Get Ink account, which they use exactly as normal - nothing about their day-to-day experience changes when they're linked to a studio.
The studio itself has a separate account with its own login. This is the overarching account that sits above the linked artists. It can take actions on their behalf - like managing appointments and sending offers.
What the studio account can do 🎛️
- Manage enquiries, offers and appointments on behalf of linked artists.
- View a shared calendar across all artists in the studio.
- Take enquiries directly through the studio profile and distribute them to the right artist.
- Keep everything in one place.
Shared calendar 📅
One of the biggest benefits of a studio account is the shared calendar. You can see all linked artists' appointments in one view, making it easy to manage availability, avoid clashes and plan your studio's schedule at a glance.
Handling enquiries 📥
Enquiries can come in two ways:
- Directly to the studio account, which can then be assigned to the relevant artist.
- Directly to an individual artist's account as normal. If needed, the artist can reassign the enquiry to the studio.
This gives you flexibility depending on how your studio prefers to work. Some studios field all enquiries centrally, others let artists handle their own and escalate when needed.
Pricing 💰
A studio account runs on a single subscription that covers all linked artists - there's no additional Pro subscription needed per artist. For studios with multiple artists, this works out significantly cheaper than everyone subscribing individually.
All artists linked to a studio are automatically upgraded to Pro, there's no Essentials tier within a studio account. This is factored into the studio subscription, so there's nothing extra to set up or pay individually.
Adding and removing artists 🔗
Artists can be linked to the studio account at any time. The subscription scales automatically as your team grows.
If an artist leaves the studio, they can be unlinked at any point. Their individual account stays active, so if they want to continue using Get Ink independently they can do so on their own subscription.
The artist experience 👩🎨
Being linked to a studio doesn't change how an artist uses their account day to day. They can still take enquiries, manage their own appointments, and use Get Ink exactly as they would independently. The studio link works in the background, artists won't notice any difference in their normal workflow.
📌 Key things to remember:
- Every artist needs their own individual Get Ink account.
- The studio account is a separate login that sits above linked artists.
- One subscription covers the whole studio. No individual artist subscriptions needed.
- Artists use the app exactly as normal. Being linked to a studio doesn't affect their day-to-day experience.
- All linked artists are automatically Pro. Essentials accounts are upgraded when linked to a studio.
- Enquiries can be taken centrally by the studio or handled by individual artists and reassigned.
- Additional artists can be linked at any time. The subscription scales as your studio grows.
- If an artist is unlinked, their account remains active and they can continue independently on their own subscription.
Recommended usage 💡
If your studio hasn't used Get Ink before, we'd recommend starting with one artist first. Get a feel for how enquiries, appointments, and payments work before rolling it out across the whole team.
Once you're happy it fits how your studio works, you can set up the studio account and start linking artists at any point.
This way you're not committing the whole studio before you've had a chance to see it in action.
